The PTS-2000 Solar Portable Traffic Signal, is used in work zones
as a replacement for temporary signals (wood poles, signal heads,
span wire, etc.) and flaggers.
One-Person Operation
One-person, 15-minute setup and one-person transportability set the
PTS-2000 apart from any other signal system in the industry for
convenience of operation. Electro-hydraulic lifts make setup and
take down as simple as pushing a button.
Radio-Link Communications
Unlike quartz system limitations, the PTS-2000 employs sophisticated
radio-link communications between the two trailers. This ensures
constant, reliable communications in six different operating modes
from manual to automatic vehicle-sense.
Radio Remote Control
The
water-resistant remote control lets you operate the system up to 1/2
mile from the master control, and features an LCD display that
operates up to 8 hours on an internal battery.
Solar Power System
Environmentally safe, high-efficiency solar power delivers peak
current year round, even under extreme heat or overcast conditions.

Default Paging System
Should a break in the signal occur for any reason, the PTS-2000
automatically reverts to a preprogrammed operating mode -- flashing
red, solid red, or solid yellow -- and an optional default paging
system calls up to 10 preprogrammed numbers to notify supervisors of
the occurrence.
